NHBC 'Pride in the Job' Award
Kenny Johnston – Eskbank Court
About the site manager

Mactaggart & Mickel Site Manager Kenneth Johnston is catching up with the infamous Paddy Malone – as this will be his third NHBC Quality Award in the prestigious NHBC ‘Pride in the Job’ awards.
Kenneth has worked for the company for more than 14 years, starting as a joiner before working his way up to then Foreman joiner, progressing to General Foreman and then Site Manager in 1997. A previous NHBC winner, Kenneth won a Pride in the Job Quality award twice for the same development – The Loanings at Bonaly in Edinburgh, as well as a Seal of Excellence for this site. This time he receives the honour in recognition for his work at the company’s Eskbank Court development at Eskbank village near Dalkeith.
Kenneth is married to Evelyn and they live with their young son Russell at Liberton in Edinburgh. He said: “ I am delighted that the quality and pride of workmanship of the 35 colleagues who I have worked alongside at Eskbank Court as been acknowledged and appreciated in this way.”
