Mac & Mic homeowners help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support

During August, four coffee mornings were hosted by our Sales Consultants, at our developments The Rise in Largs, Marr Meadows in Troon, Meadow Belles in Mauchline and Loccard Park in Symington. There was a great turn out as residents, their friends and families and other members of the local community came along to our sales centres for a cuppa and a sweet treat (or two).
We staged the events as part Macmillan Cancer Support’s “The World's Biggest Coffee Morning” event – one of the charity’s biggest fundraising events. Macmillan asked people across the UK - and further afield - to hold a coffee morning, where all donations on the day were made to Macmillan.
Last year 43,000 people signed up to hold a coffee morning, raising over £8 million.

This year, we are proud to report that we were able to raise £395.37 over our four events; funds kindly donated by our visitors.
