David joined Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems in February 2010; with more than 20 years’ experience in the timber frame sector, he has been tasked with overseeing the growth of our thriving Timber Systems division via the procurement of external sales contracts and the creation of strategic partnerships within the public and private sectors and self build market.

Coatbridge-based David joined us from Frame Wise Ltd, and aims to continue, through his new appointment, to expand the timber systems division throughout Scotland by drawing on his strong client service principles and considerable experience in handling client needs in the timber systems market.

Ross is a 4th generation family member who first joined Mactaggart & Mickel’s Homes division in January 2006 in the role of Assistant General Foreman at our Ailsa View Development in Ayr, having previously worked as a regional manager for Field & Lawn. After being promoted to General Foreman at our award-winning site The Drum in Bo'ness, Ross was appointed Commercial Manager of Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems upon our acquisition of the business in March 2007. In his role, Ross has overseen the development and implementation of our innovative closed panel system and bathroom pods, in addition to working with outside partners as part of our recent contracts at Erskine, Renfrew and Lochrin, Edinburgh.
