Our diversification strategy, implemented during 2009, has made a significant impact on our business performance since. As a housebuilder we have an inherent skill set that has served us well over some 85 years of successful trading. Today we are able to apply that expertise in site selection, land management and building, well beyond our traditional customer base. This has eased the company’s reliance on traditional home building in what has proved to be a longer than forecast industry downturn.
