Mactaggart & Mickel Group marked the end of its 85th anniversary year with a lunch event which gathered together over 120 senior professionals from the property industry.
The family-owned business has diversified over recent years to encompass a number of new divisions and Group CEO Ed Monaghan provided guests with an update on company activity in addition to taking the opportunity to thank them for their valued contributions to Mactaggart & Mickel Group’s ongoing success.
As celebration of the company’s 85th anniversary drew to a close, esteemed futurologist James Bellini gave guests a glimpse at what he believes the next 85 years will hold for both the industry and the economy.

Mactaggart & Mickel has hosted an event to showcase its affordable housing development, built in partnership with Dunedin Canmore Housing Association, at Lochrin Basin, Fountainbridge in Edinburgh.
The event, which was exclusive to members of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA), provided attendees with the opportunity to see the quality finish of the affordable apartments and hear directly from Ewan Fraser, chief executive of Dunedin Canmore Housing Association, about his perspective on the future partnership opportunities between private house builders, RSLs and Housing Associations.

Family-owned housebuilder, Mactaggart & Mickel Homes, celebrated its 85th anniversary in Glasgow in February at a reception for 150 guests.
Mactaggart & Mickel Group director Bruce Mickel and Chairman Derek Mickel hosted the proceedings, reflecting on Mactaggart & Mickel's strong heritage and association with Glasgow.
Throughout its 85 year history, the family-owned business has responded quickly to economic change while continually expanding its operations. The company’s business ethos remains the same since it was founded - with a focus on quality and the customer.
