Scottish Housebuilder of the Year* Mactaggart & Mickel Homes has raised £405.37 through its coffee mornings for Macmillan Cancer Support’s “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event.
Throughout August their sales consultants hosted coffee mornings in the chic showhomes in four of its developments: The Rise in Largs, Marr Meadows in Troon, Meadow Belles in Mauchline, and Loccard Park in Symington.
One of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Macmillan Cancer Support’s “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” encourages people across the UK to hold a coffee morning where all donations go to the charity.
Last year, over 43,000 people signed up to hold a coffee morning, raising over £8 million.
Joanne Casey, sales and marketing director of Mactaggart & Mickel Homes said: “We’d like to thank everyone from the local community who came along and donated so generously to our coffee mornings.
“The work Macmillan Cancer Support do is close to so many people’s hearts and it is a pleasure to have raised a combined total of over £400 to support them.”
