This is Phase I of a housing development where we have delivered 17 units out of 41 to date on time and within budget, creating a mix of terraced,semi-detached and detached houses. As this was our first contract for an external client we were naturally keen to demonstrate our abilities, and the client was delighted with both our quality of product and the manner in which we managed the whole project. The product supplied was open panel timber frame.

We recently secured an order to supply and erect 67 new houses for the above site which is our first order with Miller Homes in Scotland. The initial 12 plots were required to be designed manufactured and erected in short period of time and this was achieved within the time lines. The product supplied was open panel timber frame with I-joist cassette floors.

In what has been our largest commission to date we are currently creating every panel as part of the timber frame system at this new Mactaggart&Mickel Homes development.We will deliver the latest version our closed panel system, utilizing a new junction detail that requires fewer crane lifts-making on-site erection phase even quicker. We will supply frames across the whole site on 31 detached houses,ranging from three to five bedrooms.

We have recently completed the supply and erection of 4 no blocks of timber frame. Again the timescales required to deliver this project were onerous, however we met the site programme. The product supplied was open panel timber frame.

Working in partnership with the main contractor Ogilvie Construction Ltd, Timber Systems manufactured and erected standard open panel timber frame,floor cassettes and roof trusses within a 14 day time frame on time and within budget. This project outstripped even the clients expectations and allowed us to be included on the clients tender list where timber frame is the preferred method of construction for any future hotel and restaurant projects.

This was a 3 storey 7000 sq ft self build which had a traditionally built basement on the ground floor and the 2 storey timber kit was built of the slab. The site was surrounded by mature trees and the timber panels and cassette floors had to be carefully dropped into place by crane. The roof due to space restraints was built in situ. Again we delivered this project on time and within budget and we have been referred by our client for possible future projects.

Although classed as a self build project this new 455 sq m modern extension to an existing Victorian Villa in location is actually larger than most detached houses. The success in delivering this challenging project on time has secured us further commissions by our client.
