UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA)

The UK Timber Frame Association represents 85% of timber frame manufacturers. As members of the UKFTA Mactaggart & Mickel ensure they are up to speed with the most recent building regulations and standards of work. The UKTFA also provides a definitive voice for the Timber Frame Industry in the UK.

Fabric First

The Fabric First Accreditation is awarded to developers using timber frame structures to achieve Code Levels 3-6. Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems build to these criteria and therefore are using the highest quality performance building fabrics, they are building using sustainable methods and products and projects are cost effective.

Site Safe

The Site Safe Accreditation is a mandatory element of the UKTFA membership and is an initiative that aims to minimise the risk of fire on timber frame construction sites. The Site Safe initiative goes above and beyond current legislation and brings together the entire supply chain in the hope of minimising fire risks on site. As members of the UKTFA, Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems attire to these Site Safe regulations.
