Contracts was set up in 2009 in recognition of the need to diversify into other areas similar to private housebuilding, and in particular the social housing sector, in order to ensure a steady income for the company and steady employment for our workers during a difficult period for the provate housing sector. Our initial projects have been very successful, representing a value of £8.4million during the calendar year 2010, and we intend to grow the business further over the next few years.

A large component of the planned growth of the business will be linked to the delivery of the Commonweath Games Athletes Village between 2011 to 2014 and beyond, however we are also keen to establish further contracts with Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) for the provision of affordable housing. At the same time we are looking into opportunities in insurance work, insolvencies and the care home sector, along with our current business sectors of social housing, private homes and commercial property.
