Charity Abseil at 3 Atlantic Quay

On Friday 10th June our Homes Chairman Andrew Mickel and Head of Procurement Neill MacLean took up the Abseil Challenge set by our building management at Atlantic Quay, and bravely abseiled down the seven-storey side of the 3 Atlantic Quay building; an impressive 80 feet down!

All of the participants in the event were members of staff of the many companies that live and operate at Atlantic Quay, and all funds were raised in aid of Clyde 1’s Cash for Kids campaign, and Finding Your Feet, a charity which supports people affected by amputation or limb deficiency.

Cheered on by their colleagues both on the ground and from the comfortable vantage point of Mactaggart & Mickel’s Training room (which looked onto the abseil site) Neill and Andrew fearlessly completed the challenge and were delighted to raise an amazing £1,770!
