Back in May we set a challenge for the pupils at Howwood Primary School – a competition to come up with a suitable name for our new development in Howwood. We are now delighted to announce that Robbie Meikle (aged 10 from Primary 4/5 -) is the deserving winner of the competition, for his entry, “MIDTON FIELDS” - inspired by the fact that he felt the site looked as though it was “in the middle of a field just off Midton Road.”
With over 100 entrants, Robbie’s suggestion was chosen as it best represents the new neighbourhood that we look forward to delivering in Howwood. Robbie’s prize was an iPad mini and £250 of book vouchers to share with his class. We were very much impressed with the enthusiasm that all of the pupils put into their entries and with the good quality of entries we received overall.
Work on our new Midton Fields development in Howwood, which is our first site in the area in some years, began in June on the eastern edge of the village. Once complete, the development will consist of a mix of 47 stunning new three to five-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes with striking and elegant designs.
The homes at Midton Fields have been designed to suit a range of buyers on a site selected especially for its semi-rural location, excellent amenities and local transport links.
The first plots at Midton Fields will be available for Early Bird Option in early 2017 – click here to read more about the Early Bird Option process.
