Railway
The nearest railway station for the Symington area is Kilmarnock Train Station, a 10-15 minute journey from the development giving easy access to Glasgow City Centre and Stations on the Ayrshire Coast.
Bus
Symington has good bus routes to and from Ayr and Glasgow, with the Stagecoach West A4 Service travelling directly from Ayr to Glasgow with a stop on Symington Road, very close to the Mactaggart & Mickel Loccard Park development.
Glasgow City Centre is a 35-minute car journey along the M77. Symington is also only a stones through away from Kilmarnock Town Centre.
Schools
There are a number of Primary and Secondary schools in the local Symington area. Symington Primary and Dundonald Primary are close by as are secondary schools Marr College, Prestwick Academy and Grange Academy. All schools offer high quality educational facilities.

There are plenty of local amenities in the Symington area, including local convenience stores within easy walking distance of the development and there are larger Supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda and Morrisons a short car journey away.

There are some lovely quaint restaurants, bars and pubs in the local area surrounding Symington including The Wheatsheaf Inn, Castle View Restaurant, Fairways and The Old Castle Bar in Dundonald.
