LBTT paid for first-time buyers on all Mactaggart & Mickel homes*!

We are delighted to announce that, in response to this week’s Government budget announcement on abolishing stamp duty (which applies only to England and Wales), we have chosen to follow suit with our own offer to help our first-time buyers in Scotland get on the housing ladder.

From today, Friday 24 November, we will pay the Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT), the Scottish equivalent of stamp duty, for first-time buyers purchasing our homes priced at up to £300,000 until the end of April 2018*. This could mean a saving of up to £4,600 of LBTT on a sparkling new home!

Although the Scottish budget won’t be revealed until mid-December, we’ve taken this decision now to help more first-time buyers get a foot on the property ladder, as we want to make sure our valued customers don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

To find out more about our currently available plots with Paid LBTT, go to our Offers page.

    * This offer is not available in conjunction with Help to Buy (Scotland) as HTB rules do not permit cash incentives.
