Carrongrove, Denny

Stoneywood, near Denny, FK6 5GU

The Sales Centre for Carrongrove is now open, based at Alexander Taylor Estate Agents, 7 High Street Bonnybridge FK4 2AS, open Thurs to Mon 10.30am to 4.30pm (closed Tues and Weds)

Located between Stoneywood and Fankerton on the Southern banks of the river Carron, Carrongrove has a historical past as the site of the former Carrongrove Paper Mill, which was one of the most important paper factories in the area during the 19th and 20th centuries and which closed in 2005, marking the end of two centuries of paper production in the area. Carrongrove House, the former mill owner’s house, will be restored and renovated as part of our site design.

The community of Carrongrove will enjoy an enviable location in the central belt with beautiful rural surroundings and easy commuter links to Stirling and Edinburgh via the M9 and Glasgow via the M80 / M876 just a few minutes away. Nearby Falkirk and Denny provide a wealth of local amenities including retail, recreational facilities and abundant green space. A large-scale project is currently underway for the regeneration of Denny, which will add public artwork and a redeveloped town square and library, plus improved pedestrian access.
New families moving to the area will have a great choice of local schools including St Patricks RC Primary School, Nethermains Primary School and Denny Primary School and Nursery Class. Several well regarded secondary schools are also located within a short distance of the development, such as St Mungo’s High School, which has great facilities, ethos and a record of academic excellence.

An abundance of other attractions and landmarks can be found in the area including Callendar House and Park, located in the centre of Falkirk with stunning architecture, walks and gardens. Miles of canal-side walking and cycle paths offer unrivalled views of the scenic surroundings, and provide access to both the award-winning Falkirk Wheel and The Helix Centre, which is home to the iconic Kelpies sculpture and also offers a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

Keen golfers will find plenty of choice from the superior quality 18-hole Glenbervie Golf Course, set in rolling parkland, and the Bonnybridge Golf Course.
