A significant and historic milestone took place for us last week when we signed our first ever sale agreement on a Mactaggart & Mickel home in England!
Five days later, on Monday 18th November, the first residents moved into our St Jude’s Meadow development in Milton-under-Wychwood. The proud new homeowners have chosen a three-bedroom Wyatt home that features a stunning sunroom with vaulted ceiling.
A further six homes are also reserved at the development, with more new residents scheduled to set up home at St Jude’s Meadow in late November.
Still available to reserve are the beautifully designed 3-bedroom Kent and Wyatt home styles, which are eligible for Help to Buy schemes, and the magnificent 5-bedroom Ferrey home. Also, for a limited period we are offering to pay 50% Stamp Duty on selected plots!
Countryside living has become increasingly popular in recent years, with more and more families choosing to move to tranquil rural locations for the peace, quiet, closeness to nature and general quality of life.
As well as breath-taking scenery which attracts visitors every year from all over the UK and beyond, the Cotswolds’ quaint villages offer a wealth of locally-sourced food and drink, festivals and events, as well as being ideally placed for commuting to Oxford, Cheltenham and Gloucester and many other nearby towns.
The unique St Jude's Meadow development features a mix of 31 luxury three-bedroom and five-bedroom homes, as well as 31 affordable homes. 26 affordable homes have already been handed over to the local authority, with 5 more due to be handed over in December. Our homes’ exteriors also reflect the local architectural style; some feature reconstituted stone and natural slate, while our five-bedroom Ferrey showhome has a thatched roof, constructed by a local thatcher.
St Jude’s Meadow is open to visitors Thursday to Monday 10.30am to 4.30pm, with two stunning showhomes styled by the internationally acclaimed Malcolm Duffin Design.
